Playgrounds set to reopen on Friday, July 17, 2020

Municipal Playgrounds 

All municipal playgrounds will be reopened on Friday, July 17, 2020. 

Residents are reminded that the play structures and park equipment are not sanitized. Parents and guardians should supervise their children to ensure that physical distancing and good hand hygiene practices are being followed. 
For health and safety reasons, portable washrooms will not be available. Please plan accordingly. 
Physical distancing of at least 2 metres away from others, must be respected at all times. Please take turns, and be mindful of others waiting to use the playground. 
Playground Safety Reminders 
  • Maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres between others that are not a part of the same household/social circle. 
  • Take turns and be mindful of others waiting for their turn. 
  • Wash and sanitize yours hands frequently - please bring your own alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Do not use the playground if you are feeling unwell.
  • Washrooms are not available. Please plan accordingly.
